This coat rack (model 101) with a parcel shelf comes from the house of Johannes Trommler KG, Dörnthal and was manufactured in the 1950s. It consists of 4 metal hooks and a hat rack. At the rear, a hanging device is integrated so that the wardrobe can be directly and easily attached to the wall. The sapphire wood (Sapelli) used for the parcel storage is a colored wood that appears only slightly porous on the surface, with a particularly decorative wood appearance due to its structure, color and gloss. It resembles oak wood in its characteristics. The back wall of the wardrobe is veneered.
