A fabulous quality 19th Century burr walnut and inlaid breakfront credenza, the shaped, crossbanded and wonderfully figured top above an inlaid frieze decorated with ormolu beading and mounts, with two cupboard doors at the centre which have marquetry inlay and ormolu beading, opening to reveal a single fixed shelf inside, flanked either side with ormolu mounted twin columns with glazed panel at the centre, both sides of the cabinet having bow shaped glazed doors opening to reveal two shaped shelves inside, supported on a deep shaped plinth with ormolu beading. Fantastic colour and in excellent condition. Circa 1870.
