This is an antique beehive fireside store. An English, copper fire bucket or coal bin, dating to the early Victorian period, circa 1850.

Fascinating tapered form and colouration
Displays a desirable aged patina
Pleasingly tarnished copper with appealing tonality
Domed lid with small finial accentuated with sash border and beading
Later inset pine bottom
Dressed with a pair of bulbous handles and delightful hairy paw feet in cast brass
