This delightful pair of 'Jumu' Antique Side Chairs will add elegance and style to any room - showcase them in a hallway, living room, dining kitchen or bedroom.

'Jumu' is Chinese for beech wood and these chairs were once finished in a much darker lacquer which appears to have been stripped back or simply worn over the years, dating back to circa, 1860. Traces of the original finish are still visible on the legs, adding charm and character.

The chairs have the distinctive, curved 'yoke' shaped crest rail, with a simple seat and front curved aprons with an attractive carved design motif and footrest beneath.
