Pair of armchairs designed by Gio Ponti for Isa Bergamo.

Elegant armchairs with high backrest and refined curved lines with an unmistakable design.

Produced in the 1950s, they excellently represent the refined and sober style of the era.

Designed by Gio Ponti, one of the greatest Italian architects and designers, who dictated the style of post-war Italian design and who still sets standards today for innovation, creativity and beauty.

Produced by ISA Industria Salotti e Arredamenti founded at the end of the 40s in Ponte San Pietro, a small village outside Bergamo.

In the 1950s, thanks to the success achieved by producing based on designs by great designers such as Gio Ponti and Guglielmo Veronesi, ISA increased production until it had 400 workers.

The armchairs are in an excellent state of conservation, the wooden structure is original and intact and has no defects.

The upholstery has just been replaced with an intense steel blue silk velvet which makes them modern but at the same time classic and elegant.

These armchairs, which are a piece of design history, can be combined with both modern and antique furnishings.
