Vintage Design

Set of six chairs in the jules Leleu taste.

The chairs are in very nice teak wood worked in the heart of the wood, entirely covered with beige fabric.
The foundations are in very good condition.

The height of the backrest and the width of the perfectly studied seat, allow unparalleled comfort and support, when taking place around a table.

This family of cabinetmakers, creators and sets was at the top of the French decoration during the years 1920-1948 for Jules Leleu then 1948-1970 for his son André Leleu.

Jules Leleu developed many embassies, decorated the most beautiful liners of the 1930s.
He performs orders for the Prince of Monaco, the Emperor of Japan.

Loving to work as a team, he surrounds himself with an artist and craftsmen's group.
The lacquers Dunand, Bobot, Hamenenaka - The engravers on Ingrand Max Glass and Pansart and the Ferronnier Raymond Subes.

He produces the "ceiling floor" decoration "of the furniture, to the lights via the rugs and the fabrics.
