Folding table "Battista" is an iconic product of Promemoria. "Battista" was created in 1978, even before Promemoria was founded. It is the first piece of furniture designed by Romeo Sozzi in his workshop. The first versions of the table have since become priceless collector's items and there have been numerous changes in execution and design over the years

'Battista' is a folding side table in matte black wood or leather with a two-piece table top. An ingenious mechanism makes the table particularly easy to handle. "Battista" is small in size, is always there when you need it and extremely practical. But he can also suddenly disappear, offering a pleasurable spectacle
Promemoria is rooted in a long tradition and yet is constantly evolving. When Romeo Sozzi founded his company in 1988, he chose the name "Promemoria", a declaration of love for the ability to preserve the handmade, the extraordinary, the special. Remembering the past to improve the future. This is the true mission of the company, which draws from its rich tradition to create the beauty of tomorrow.

Promemoria's roots go back a long way. The company's history began in the nineteenth century in a small town on Lake Como. Here, the Sozzi family ran their workshop to maintain and repair the carriages of the local nobility. An activity entrusted only to experts and the best of the craft guild. Here, in the fragrance of woods and stains, over four generations, the craftsmanship took shape from which Promemoria was to emerge at the end of the 1980s.
