Vintage Design

A superb quality burr walnut veneered breakfast bookcase from the early 20th century. The domed top has beautiful astragal glazed door beneath all of which is sat upon three solid walnut line drawers each with large brass drop handles. The bookcase base has a crossbanded top and all the drawers, cupboards and upper structure have wonderful yet discreet ebony and boxwood chevron stringing. The whole piece has a ogee shaped plinth beneath which is a row of bun feet. All the locks work and have keys. A stunning piece of design and craftsmanship. Breaks in two pieces for transportation.
