French 19th Century Painted Marriage Armoire.

A French Louis XV style rhubarb-red painted marriage armoire, circa 1800-1850. Featuring exuberantly carved wedding baskets and foliage motifs.

The doors open to reveal an interior with shelves for plenty of storage. This French marriage armoire will bring a subtle gracefulness to any room.

This large armoire is in very good condition for an antique having been restored and coloured. The wear of this armoire is consistent with age and use and is in a good antique condition.
