Large Cantonese baluster vase. Features decorated hand-painted polychrome Famille Rose palette with cartouche panels of figures in a hunting scene motif with exotic animals. Made in China for the European Market.

Canton porcelain is a typical and characteristic style decorated in the city of Guangzhou. Guangzhou is the capital and largest city of Guangdong province in southern China. In the 18th and 20th century, porcelain objects represented the largest export produced in China. The vase is very decorative in a hall entrance or modern office.
