About This Piece

The King's Nightingale (Original Title: L’usignolo del Re) is an original Contemporary artwork realized in 1995 by the italian artist Leo Guida (1992 - 2017). Original Screen Print. Hand-signed, Numbered and titled in pencil on the lower right corner by the artist: 1/3 "Recita" p.a. Leo Guida. Artist's Proof 1/3. Original Study for the realization of a wooden inlay sculpture. Frame is included (75.5 x 1.5 x 55.5 cm). Mint conditions. Leo Guida (1992 - 2017). Sensitive to current issues, artistic movements and historical techniques, Leo Guida has been able to weave with many generations of young people in the course of his career, a productive conversation on art and the function of the artist. He was a teacher at the Liceo Artistico in Latina from 1969 to 1985, and he trained many of the artists who today characterize the Italian cultural scene.
