Vintage Design

Beautiful and very rare sideboard model Madison designed by Fred Sandra and manufactured by De Coene, Belgium 1960. This well-crafted and heavy sideboard is produced in rosewood and walnut. It has a very nice and warm grain to the rosewood veneered doors. The cabinet is supported by a solid walnut wooden frame with six tapered legs. Notable detail is the mirrored veneer doors and drawers displaying identical wood grains, truly magnificent. It features four doors and six drawers. Not only this contrast between the types of wood, but also the fine detailing of the design are striking. Small round handles catch the eye due to their metal look. This unsymmetrical design makes the look of this sideboard even more beautiful. The whole piece is unified, modest and simplistic in its design. This sideboard is in very good original condition. Marked with a metal “De Coene” tag inside of a door. An incredible catch for any modern home, office or interior.
