Vintage Design

Beautiful "Quadro" model sideboard in maple with darker wood joints, by Ferdinando Meccani for Meccani Arredamenti, Cascina (Pisa), Italy.
The design of the sideboard dates back to 1976, the realization dates back to 1985; autograph signature with author's date and copper plaque from the company.
Certification of originality and authenticity from the Meccani Archive.
The sideboard has four push doors and three internal shelves.
The geometry, the 18 cm square module, create a beautiful monolith enhanced by the skilful alternation of the horizontal and vertical veins in maple treated with wax and slightly oxidized by light and time: It looks like a block of white statuary marble from Carrara; exceptional.
It is a unique piece in this wood essence.
