About This Piece

Vintage Design

Vintage, half moon, nightstand/side table with drawer on tripod legs, circa 1950's-60's

Piece is made of solid wood, with a striped, mahogany-veneered finish on the top, sides, drawer and back, and beautiful, brass, gilded decor around the edges of the top (see photos.) It has a lovely pedestal resting on elegant, yet simple, tripod legs, typical of the period. There is also a very nice contrast in color, between the top, sides drawer and back (see photos.)

The drawer measures at H: 5 cm x W: 17.5 cm x D: 20 cm.
It is clean, fully functional, and comes with its original, pull knob (see photos.)

Piece is in in overall, very good, original and vintage condition with very light marks, signs of age and previous use commensurate with time, as well as a patina of time on the overall structure, top, brass gilding, edges, pull knob, pedestal and legs (see various photos). The front leg of the pedestal has slight discrepancy, but this does not affect the overall functionality of the piece (see photos.)

Piece is solid and stable. It has only been gently cleaned with respect to its orignal patina of time.
