Night, White Night, Russia, Impressionism Yakov Tarasovich Besperstov was born on November 5, 1929 in the village of Bogdanovka, Utevsky district, Samara region. After the war, he graduated from an art school, then three courses from an art school in Dushanbe. In 1950 he entered the monumental painting department of the Leningrad Higher School of Industrial Art. He studied with G. Savinov, I. Stepashkin, K. Ioganson, A. Sokolov. In 1957 he graduated from the Leningrad Higher Art School, presenting his thesis - a sketch of the painting "Youth Festival" for the concert hall of the House of Culture of the Food Industry in Leningrad [2] ... After graduation, worked in the field of monumental and decorative painting, participated in the execution of the painting of the Tom-Usinsk Palace of Culture, the Palace of Metallurgists in Cherepovets, the House of Culture in Petropavlovsk North-Kazakhstan. At the same time he worked in easel painting, which he later preferred. He paints portraits, landscapes, mainly urban, genre paintings. He has participated in exhibitions since the late 1950s, exhibiting his works along with the works of Leningrad's leading masters of the visual arts. Besperstov traveled extensively throughout the country, having visited Khakassia, Eastern Siberia, Central Asia, Transcaucasia, Crimea, worked on the creative base of Leningrad artists in Staraya Ladoga, visited Spain, Algeria, Italy. In the 90s he lived and worked for a long time in France. The impressions of these travels were reflected in the artist's works. He died on December 24, 1998 in St. Petersburg at the age of 70. The works of Ya. T. Besperstov are in museums and private collections in Russia, France, Belgium, Germany, Spain, Italy and other countries.
