Vintage Design

This exceptional Edwardian Sheraton revival rosewood bureau or writing table dates from circa 1900. It retains the original pierced, brass gallery above 2 waterfall shelves. The batwing inlaid cylinder fall opens to reveal pigeon holes, small drawers and adjustable tooled leather writing surface above 2 frieze drawers with brass handles. It's all standing on elegant square legs terminating in brass castors. This fabulous desk is satinwood crossbanded and ebony inlaid throughout. It measures 31in in depth with the writing section open.
